I’m a home-improving, jet-setting, road tripping, perpetually planning, life-loving lady.  I would consider myself a habitual foodie and cocktail connoisseur.  I have a hundred year old house, four furry children, and one amazing man.  I spend every day looking for inspiration, adventure, or anything to bring more happiness into my life, so I can send it back out into the world.

My partner in crime is Mario.

We love our house.

It’s charming and old, cozy and inviting.

In our spare time and with our spare money we hope to turn our dreams into reality at The Lodge on Haydon.

We love life.

We live to travel, eat great food, drink fabulous cocktails, and spend time with our family and friends at home.

Our kids have fur.

We are proud parents to our Labrador mix Sadie, and our three cats, Marley, Maggie, and Gunner.  They help fill the house with love, cuddles, and lots of laughs.

  1. The theme you’re using looks awesome from the iPhone. Definitely iPhone friendly. Easy to navigate and picture perfect. Nice site!

  2. Overall, I really like your theme. It shows that it has been very thoughtfully designed. The only part that jars for me is the font size changes, but that could be my eyesight. However, I like that you appear to use the sizing and the bold to prioritise their importance to what you are saying. That feature is a great introduction to the details that follow. I really like the photographs and how they are placed throughout the text. Great job!!!

    • Thanks so much for your feedback! I honestly don’t know how I got the writing that big, and am trying to fix it! : ) I pressed a button, and POOF it was Giant! (Now if I can just find that button)

  4. Thanks for having such a great blog. You’ve inspired me to write a post about the furry children that fill the lives of my wife and I with so much joy – I certainly have plenty of photos to choose from. Maybe I’ll have to do a post about each.
Thanks for being one of the first brave souls to follow my blog when I was still wondering if starting Blogging 101 was a good idea or not. It was making connections, reading comments and finding wonderful blogs like yours that kept me going. I feel like I’m still just getting started and so I’ve signed up for Blogging 201 which starts tomorrow.
I look forward to continuing to follow the celebration of life that is your blog.
